Motorola RAZR V3 Black

The Motorola Razr V3 is expertly crafted to deliver exceptional performance. Inside the ultra-thin design are advanced features like MPEG4 video playback, Bluetooth® wireless technology, a digital camera and more. And with the precision-cut keypad, minimalist styling and metal finish, the V3 looks just as beautiful as it performs.

The good: The Razr V3 has a striking design and comes with e-mail support, a beautiful display, Bluetooth, a speakerphone, and world phone support.

The bad: Unfortunately, the Razr supports only video playback, the controls take acclimation, and the call volume is a bit low.

The bottom line: More than just a pretty face, the Razr V3 backs up its radical design with solid features and good performance.

I love this phone. Its thin, its light, its feature-full, and does its primary job better than my previous phone – the XDA II. I do wish synching would’ve worked better on my PC just so I could have tested that more and I do wish I had an easy to get to favorites contact list. But other than that, it is hard to find fault with this phone. The battery life seems good. Reception is great. The UI is great in most areas. The LCD screen on both the inside and outside is fantastic. And knowing that I can take this phone anywhere in the world is pretty nice too. All that said, you know you’re paying for the look of the phone and its size. Just like an iPod Mini. But just as an iPod Mini was worth it for my wife, the Razr is worth it for me.

Half an inch thin (yes, we said half an inch) and made of anodized aluminum, the Motorola flip phone looks and feels absolutely amazing. There’s no dispute: The Razr (pronounced “razor”) is the coolest-looking phone. Period.

The Razr is joyously thin. And though it may seem a little wide in relation to its thinness, it slips into any pocket with ease. Carrying it around is addictive; it’s so much less of a bother than other phones. It mates well with Bluetooth headsets, and you can voice-dial numbers (as long as they are listed in the phone’s address book). Call quality was acceptable, though not extraordinary. Indoors, the speakerphone and ringer could wake the dead.
