BlackBerry 7105t Reviews
RIM BlackBerry 7105t Review by PC Magazine
Our favorite improvement actually applies to all T-Mobile BlackBerrys. T-Mobile has upgraded its BlackBerry Internet Service server to support Yahoo! Mail and tie more closely into T-Mobile’s own Web site. We hooked up a Yahoo! account, a Microsoft Exchange account, and a POP3 account to the same BlackBerry and they coexisted happily. If you want, you can pick a different “sent from” address for each message you send on the 7105t, so e-mails appear to be coming from different accounts.
We loved the 7100t last year, but that’s when it was the first truly phone-shaped BlackBerry. Now that there are four, and Verizon’s BlackBerry 7130e is the best of the bunch, judged on its better call quality, high-speed networking, and laptop modem capability. T-Mobile users can still feel safe buying 7100t models, or they can upgrade to this ever-so-slightly better handset. But they should make sure they don’t pay more for the privilege.
ZDNet RIM BlackBerry 7100t Review & Comparison
# The good: The attractive and compact RIM BlackBerry 7100t is a world phone with extensive e-mail support, a vivid color display, a speakerphone, and an easy-to-use interface.
# The bad: The downsides of the BlackBerry 7100t are its limited Bluetooth functionality, its lack of expandable memory, its mixed sound quality, and its awkward QWERTY-like keyboard.
# The bottom line: Though the BlackBerry 7100t is a great option for RIM newbies, we were hoping for more consumer-friendly functionality with the Bluetooth.
T-Mobile BlackBerry 7105t - Review
Overall, the T-Mobile BlackBerry 7105t is a great renaissance gadget, offering a competent selection of applications, functions, and options for the average cell phone user. I’d say it registers average to good marks across the boards with excellent scores in email and messaging. Again, the sound quality of the phone function isn’t the best, but if you’re looking for a wide variety of applications and a great beginner’s learning curve (for those new to the BlackBerry universe), the 7105t will definitely do the job.
RIM BlackBerry 7105t Review - Mobiledia
Holding to the core values of the BlackBerry product line, the 7105t features all the powerful email functionality and business productivity tools loyal users have come to love, with good looks to boot. Also including an IM client to support AOL, Yahoo!, and ICQ, and new enhanced access to Yahoo! Mail, the BlackBerry 7105t builds upon the already well-rounded 7100t.
